KK Challenge #180

This week's challenge over at Kraftin Kimmie is FUN in the SUN!!! Melanie is the hostess with the mostess (hopefully this is spelled right...my spell check wanted me to put moistness...go figure LOL) this week! She wanted us to create a card, scrapbook page or altered item with a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp that features the beach, the sun, outdoor scenes of some kind!

I choose to use one of the stamps from the World of Wonder collection. These three little girls are super cute.  Since this was a summer theme I decided to choose the little girl looking at bugs...kids just love that stuff!!!

New puppy and baby card

I have been a bit absent lately...been so busy and haven't had much time to blog but here goes...

On Monday we added a new addition to the family...my sister got a new puppy. He is a Botson Terrier and she has named him Auggie (short for Augustine, yep, like the saint). 

He is the most adorable little thing EVER!!!! He even snores! He weighed 1.9lbs when we picked him up and he was so tiny. He was the biggest one when his litter was born but somehow became the littlest puppy! Oh but he is so cute.

Here is a card I completed a little while ago. I am in need of baby cards...it seems everyone I know is getting pregnant so always good to have a few extra on hand.

Abby's Wedding Card

It’s such a beautiful day here in Ontario. My sister came home for the weekend so we have been out an about all day. My parents attended a wedding for a friend of my mom’s. So naturally I was asked to make a wedding card for the happy couple.

This was definitely a first for me as they are both very dark skinned and I haven’t played with different skin tones too much. So here goes my trial card…

NSD Kraftin Kimmie Challenge #5 - Boys will be Boys

Hi All!!

Back with another of Kimmie's National Scrapbooking Day Krop challenges. This time it is Jenny's challenge Boys Will Be BOYS! Her challenge was to make any card as long as it had some boyish charm.

I know I have said this before but I find boy/male cards the hardest to do...girls...sure easy peasy, some bling, flowers and the color pink and you're good...boys....whole other story!

So as per Jenny's suggestion I am getting down and dirty with a boy card. 

So for this card - which turned out AMAZING!!! Don't you think??

I used Kraftin Kimmie's Down on the Farm stamp set. This set comes with three adorable little kids and several sentiments to match. SO CUTE!

Here is the inside of the card. I used some scraps left over from creating the front to make the little flags. I also stamped the image again in brown to add a little fun to this card.

NSD Kraftin Kimmie Challenge #3 - Let it Sparkle

The third challenge for Kraftin Kimmie's National Scrapbooking Day Krop is LET IT SPARKLE!

Deborah is the host for this challenge and she asked us to use glitter, glossy accents and lots of bling...because you all know we girls love our bling!!!

So I decided to use Kraftin Kimmie's stamp Marilyn as she is so elegant and fits this theme oh so well!!!

NSD Kraftin Kimmie Challenge #2 - It's a CELEBRATION!!!

So this is post No.2 today on this lovely beautiful day in Ontario.

This card I created is for Kraftin Kimmie's second National Scrapbooking Day challenge. This challenge was hosted by Sheri, she wanted us to celebrate something! This was hard for me as I am at a crop and didn't bring any celebration stuff....goes to show you I clearly didn't read the challenge. I actually had some baby stamps which worked perfect!

I created this card for my friend's daughter as she just had her first baby a short time ago. Congrats Jessica and Adam! May you get some sleep soon.

National Scrapbooking Day!

WOW!! What a day.

I get to spend the weekend scrapbooking with some amazing girls at Cropfest Barrie 2013. This event is a two day event which started yesterday and goes till tonight at midnight. The spectacular Lisa and her amazing girls put on another fantastic event. Here I am photobombing the Scrapfest Team photo...LOL...these are some amazing girls especially to let me do the bombing LMAO.

I also have the pleasure of participating in Kraftin Kimmie's National Scrapbook Day Crop. Her event started at 9am and is being hosted on her facebook page. What a great day.
