Today is the first day since my surgery in December that I have spent crafting away. It felt so good to get back at it!
Here's what I did today...bewarned though this post is big. LOL
One of the ladies at work is having a baby so I made this card that we (the staff) are going to give her on Thursday for her shower.
The Paper is from Close to my Heart. I used that paper for the blanket.
The Copics I used for this card are as following:
E00, E11, E25, E29, Y38 and BG23
Next I made a Christmas Card...
I know it's a bit late but I just love the season.
I used DCWV Tis the Season.
I used the following copics:
Hair: E59, E25, E23, E29
Batter: E34
Skin: E00, E11
Dress: R46
Apron: BG32, BG34
Spoon & Wisk: C3
Love this blingy gingerbread man...

2013: A New Year
Hey Everyone!
Over the last 2 1/2 months my life has completely changed. I started my new journey on November 11, 2012 with a liquid diet that lasted the 3 weeks before my surgery. Let me tell you about this lovely liquid diet. The vanilla shakes were ok; they tasted like a cross between vanilla cake and a vanilla milkshake. The chocolate was a WHOLE other story. Can you say GROSS! LOL. I could not stomach them they were horrible and it's not like I could add anything to it either...
Anyways, I had my surgery December 3 and got to meet Cindy who had her surgery the same day and get this...it was performed by the same surgeon. She's awesome and it was so good to go through this with someone.
I was home for 3 weeks before going back to work. That was certainly an interesting experience, as I don't think I have ever spent that much time at home. I was glad to go back to work and get back to normal life though.
Having this surgery has really been life changing for me. So far, I have lost over 48lbs and am feeling fantastic, except for the uncool mood swings. I can't believe it took me that long before coming to the decision to move forward with the surgery; but I am SO HAPPY I did choose to do it.
Now I just have to "keep swimming" as Dori would say.
;)
