August Release Krafty Hop!!!

It's a FAB-BOO-LOUS Day!!

We're so excited because it's our! AUGUST RELEASE Day at KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS!! And we’re celebrating with a KRAFTY HOP!!

So grab yourself a cuppa joe, sit back and be prepared for some krafty eye kandy! We're going to inspire your creations with our fun, new rubber stamp sets AND our Limited Edition Halloween Kard Kit!

Over the last few days in our Krafty Peeks, we have shared lots of amazing creations featuring new stamp sets from all of our artists for our August/Halloween release! We know these new stamps will inspire you to make your own fabulous creations! First off, we shared a gorgeous set of SPOOK-TACULAR SENTIMENTS by artist, Becky Pearce! Then we had a sweet set of little goblins from artist Emilie Goulet called A TREAT FOR SOMEONE SWEET! Then we shared a be-WITCH-ing new set of witches from artist, Annie Rodrigue called MY BEST FRIENDS ARE WITCHES! And lastly, we have an adorable set of trick or treaters from artist, Cheryl Grant called YOU'RE A SCREAM!! You will get to see ALL of the new images today as you sit back and enjoy our August Krafty Hop!

On my card I used A Treat for Someone Sweet!!! I choose to play with the little boy as the robot. I know I remember dressing up in handmade costumes with stuff from around the house and this stamp brings back all those really awesome memories. Do you have memories and running around the house to find just the right thing to add to your costume???

Day Four - August Krafty Previews!

Hey Krafty Peeps!!

 Welcome back to day FOUR of our AUGUST Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks!!! Our final stamp set for this release is by artist Cheryl Grant! It is called YOU'RE A SCREAM!! This adorable set features our fave kiddos in their Halloween costumes!! It includes THREE main images plus EIGHT coordinating sentiments!!

This week our challenge hostess is Lee Ann! And her challenge is ANYTHING GOES (as it always is during release week)!! So create a card, scrapbook page or altered item with any stamp but if you use a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp you'll double your chances to WIN!! Use any sketch, any design, any embellishments because Anything Goes!

I decided to go a little different with this set and try a non traditional halloween approach to my card. I used the basic colours you would most likely find at a carnival and went from there!

Day Three - August Krafty Previews!

We are back with Day THREE of the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps AUGUST KRAFTY PREVIEWS!!!

Today we have a witchy new set by artist, Annie Rodrigue!! I think you'll agree that it is FA-BOO-LOUS!! The set is called MY BEST FRIENDS ARE WITCHES! and it has two gorgeous main images plus FIVE coordinating sentiments!

Annie's witches are totally awesome in this set. I am so lucky to get to play with some pretty awesome stamps!!! For my card I used the no lines technique and it turned out absolutely amazing! I really do find this technique challenging however it is really great to use it and the images look fantastic!

For the cauldron and the smoke I pop dotted them from a second image which I had fussy cut out, this was to provide a bit more depth to the image. I used a black Doodlebug Doily in the bottom right hand corder as well. This doily is one of the minis.

I also decided I wanted to decorate the inside of the card with one of the cute sentiments from the set. I placed several flags, one of which with the sentiment on top of  a puff from the smoke which I strategically stamped and coloured.

Day Two - August Krafty Previews!

Hey everyone!! Welcome back to day TWO of our AUGUST Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks!!!

We are back again with more terror-ific Halloween creations and all of our brand new rubber stamp sets and a limited edition Halloween Kard Kit will be released on Saturday night!

Today we are sharing a super cute set of stamps by artist Emilie Goulet, perfect for all the sweet little goblins in your life! It is called A TREAT FOR SOMEONE SWEET!! This fun set includes THREE main images plus NINE perfectly coordinating sentiments!! They are ADORABLE!!!

I hope you are enjoying the previews thus far!!! I know I loved these stamps as soon as I received them. I decided to use the girl dressed as the pig. What a fantastic idea for a costume!! On my card I used the cute Doodlebug Doilies (PSST...the sames ones you would get in the Halloween card kit if you were planning on ordering one!!!), some twine and a cute twirled paperclip!

Day One - August Krafty Previews!

Welcome to our SPOOK-tacular release week!!!

Today is Day ONE of the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps AUGUST 2015 previews!!!

 

We are kickin' things off with a BOO-tiful new set featuring some awesome large sentiments in beautiful fonts from artist, Becky Pearce!! The set is called....SPOOK-TACULAR SENTIMENTS!!

I am such a Halloween person! I know it's only a day but I LOVE LOVE LOVE Halloween. On my card I used some older Basic Grey paper I had in my stash. I am a sucker for green on Halloween cards so I inked around my image and then I distressed all the papers up to give it that vintage look.
I also got to play with some of our new Terrific Twine while I was at the Krafty Kave at Kimmie's!!! I think it works extremely well on this card and ties all the colours and papers together.

July 25 - Vacation

Hi everyone! Welcome to another challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

It is kinda of poetic Krafty Girl Tangii picked "vacation" as her theme this week as I start my vacation today.
For my card I decided to use two different stamp sets to create this fun themed card!!! I used SWEET SUMMER SENTIMENTS and GOOD VIBRATIONS hope you like it!

To celebrate we are kicking off a BRAND NEW monthly challenge hosted by the wonderful Krafty Girl, Tangii!!! It’s going to be called our KRAFTY SKRAPPY CHALLENGE! You will have a whole month to play along and you can play as many times as you like!

1. Create ANY scrap page, Project Life Layout, altered item, etc. JUST NOT A CARD!
