October Release Day 2 - EVANGELINE ANGEL

Welcome back to Day TWO of our October Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Did you love yesterday's peek?? So beautiful, right?! Well then you're going to love today's peek too because we've got another gorgeous ANGEL! It's EVANGELINE ANGEL!

This adorable new stamp set comes with one large main image and three fabby sentiments!!

I chuckled when I saw this stamp for the first time. Some of you may know the comedy show Mrs. Brown's Boys is - it features a family in Dublin and revolves around the matriarch of the family "Mrs. Brown".  In one episode she gets a mechanical tree and ends up at the top whipping around uncontrollably. Kinds like the angel on the top here. I love this to bits.

I went with the more traditional route with my colours and stayed with the gold, red and green base but added some fun coloured lights on the tree.

October Release Day 1 - ANGELICA ANGEL

Welcome to Day ONE of our October Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We hope to get you in the holiday mood this week with four days of magical stamp sets! Are you ready to deck the halls and spread Christmas cheer?  Today we have our first ethereal stamp set (there *might* be another one tomorrow) and it's called ANGELICA ANGEL!

This gorgeous clear stamp set features a sweet, lovely angel with her birdie friend plus three coordinating sentiments!

I went and challenged myself with this image and did the no lines technique. I think I did pretty well with her. I wanted a different palette than the traditional red so I went with a cute blue dress. I paired the finished image with a more vintage style paper. On the paper you will notice I used Bo Bunny glitter paste and a swirly stencil to add a bit more dimension to the paper.  I have a side view where you can see the glitter a bit better below.

I wanted to include the awesome sentiment (one of my fav xmas songs, btw.) so I made a little scroll. I cut the paper to the width I needed and kept the top and bottom a little longer so I could roll the ends up.  Over all I loved how this card came out.

Saturday Challenge - Fall/Autumn Colours

I combined two different stamps to create this image.

The challenge this Saturday is to create a Holiday card....
it can be any holiday or a day you deem a holiday (like a spa day lol)

I chose to play with YOU'RE NIFTY and do a really cool valentines/love card.
I also recently played with an old Polaroid camera which I thought would add
a little something different to the card below.
I think it works pretty well!!! Hope you can join us this week.

Wonderful Wednesday

It's Wonderful Wednesday time and I am so excited to host!!  
As always....it's ANYTHING GOES!!

Phew what a month - can you believe our weather here
is 30 plus with the humidity...mother nature lol
I went with a more 'fall' colour scheme even though
we are now just getting summer.
I used ALICE IN WONDERLAND - she is so fun to colour!
I did her dress so it matched the colours in the paper as I really
wanted to try with this colour of dress.

September Krafty Peeks...Day THREE! Mini Monsters

Welcome to Day THREE of our September Krafty Peeks
at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We've got a super sweet stamp set to share with you today! This one is from artist Becky Pearce and it's called MINI MONSTERS!

These chubby little kiddos are dressed up and having fun as MONSTERS!!! They are ready for some spooky fun! The set comes with several main images, lots of cute accessory stamps and five fabby sentiment stamps for a total of SEVENTEEN stamps in the set!
